METOC Flight Planning Tool

Description: The METOC Flight Planning Tool (MFPT) is a web based application, which provides weather condition over an arbitray fliying path. It provides sensor fusion of many data sources, e.g. GOES-IR, Model Runs (COAMPS, NOGAPS, Flight Level), DTED, and DBDB. The MFPT was demonstrated at both the CINC's 2000 Technology Conference and the Joint Warfighter Interoperability Demonstration (JWID 2000).
