A coarse problem has been recently detected with the temperature data embedded in the PDS image files of many of the orbits.
During periods of RF blockage no temperature information was downloaded. The gaps in temperature data can be seen in this illustration. The illustration shows, on the left , how the temperature data changed as a function of orbit number and image number. On the right it shows the absolute temperature gradient along an orbit over many of the orbits of interes.
A filtered version of the data presented above is shown below.
The updated temperature can be found here in the form of a ProVIEW *.flt file. This script file explains the organization of the *.flt file.
